Reiki is a gentle energetic healing method that works with universal life energy. This energy helps the body and nervous system of an animal to relax and supports the return to natural balance.

During a Reiki session, I work intuitively with my hands and energy, either on or just above the animal’s body. The animal always decides what feels comfortable and how much energy it is willing to receive. Everything takes place in a calm, safe and respectful environment, without pressure or force.

Reiki is not a replacement for veterinary care, but it can be supportive alongside conventional or other natural treatments.

✨ What can Reiki support?

Reiki may be helpful for animals who are experiencing:

• stress or tension
• anxiety or overstimulation
• recovery after illness, surgery, or emotional stress
• difficulty adjusting to changes in their environment
• behavioural changes without a clear medical cause
• a need for relaxation and energetic balance

Many animals respond to a session with deep relaxation. This may show as yawning, sighing, dozing off, or simply settling calmly.

🌿 Practical information

Reiki sessions take place in the grooming salon, in a quiet and safe environment where the animal is allowed to respond at its own pace.
